The Tournament will take place Saturday, May 31st, 2025 from 5:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M regardless of weather. The location of the weigh-in (picture only) is Ischoda Yacht Club (138 Water Street, South Norwalk, CT)

Largest Bass 1st, 2nd, 3rd; Largest Bluefish; Largest Fish on Fly; Most Unusual Catch; Largest Fish Caught on Barbie Rod.

All CT Marine Fisheries Rules and Regulations must be followed.

Tournament is catch & release only. Pictures need to be provided… see below.

Each participant must fill out this Registration Form and pay a registration fee. Individual anglers pay $250. A boat of 4+ pays $800.

If tournament participants plan to use a paid guide/captain, there will be a 1” deduction off of your catch.

Boundaries: Western Long Island Sound from Throgs Neck Bridge east to an imaginary boundary from West Haven (Sandy Point Bird Sanctuary) across the sound to Mount Sinai Harbor.

There will be a separate voluntary calcutta. Participants wishing to enter the calcutta will venmo Clay Persinger at the captains’ meeting the night before the tournament. The cost to enter the Calcutta is $200 PER BOAT… Largest bass takes all. All calcutta participants have to venmo (only) by 11:59 P.M. on Friday May 30th… NO EXCEPTIONS.

Weigh-In participants: Must take legible pictures of each catch you plan to enter. For every catch there must be photos of the fish against an approved measuring device (supplied by officials/handed out at the captains’ party the night before). The fish’s tail tip (not the fork) needs to be on zero (0). Please include as many pictures of the fish as possible (picture of fish with crew, picture with measuring device, any other legible photos). If there are any questions concerning your photo, your catch will not count. There will be a panel of three (3) professional judges independent of the tournament who will make all ultimate decisions. You must weigh-in with your photos at the judges’ station IN PERSON by 4:30 P.M. in order for your catch to count. You have to be present at the party by 4:30pm to confirm the photos of your catches with the judges. Photos must be sent via email ONLY to bassapalooza123@gmail.com

There will be a captains’ meeting at 5:30 P.M. at Ischoda Yacht Club the night before the tournament (Friday, May 30th). You are not required to attend the captains’ meeting. There will be official measuring devices handed out at the captains’ meeting.
